We ship our packages using UPS. Your candy is freshly packed when it leaves our store. While we hope it arrives as beautifully as it left, there is a chance of shifting and jostling during transportation. Please Note: Chocolate Covered Cherries are extremely fragile and shipping is NOT recommended. All shipping is at your risk. Also, ants and other critters love chocolate so keep in mind the areas UPS will be leaving your package. We suggest delivering to an address where someone will be present to receive the package upon delivery. Candy is not returnable. If you are not satisfied with the quality of any item, please contact us.
SUMMER SHIPPING POLICY mid-May through September – For orders shipping to MD, VA, DE, NJ or central/eastern PA, you may choose Ground shipping. These orders are estimated to be delivered the day after it leaves our store. We will include insulating packing material and an ice pack in the shipping carton. Please note – this is still at your risk. Ice packs normally last 24 hours. However, when temps are extreme, they can melt sooner. No refunds for melted chocolates!
For orders shipping anywhere other than the states listed above, you must choose Next Day Air as your shipping method. If you do not, we will cancel the order and refund your money. (Your chocolates will never make it to its destination without melting if you choose Ground.) On Next Day Air orders, we will use insulated packing material and an ice pack. Next Day Air is the only shipping method guaranteed as far as chocolate melting.
We only ship orders on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday in the summer. Orders received before 12 noon on Tues, Wed, & Thur will ship out that day if we have everything in stock. Orders received after 12 noon on Tues & Wed, will ship the following day if we have everything in stock. Please note – for orders placed after 12 noon on Thursday, and anytime Friday through Monday, the earliest your order will ship will be on the following Tuesday, and that is if we have everything in stock.
